ITAM Program Lead

• Assess current IT asset management processes, tools, governance, data quality, and operating practices.
• Lead requirements gathering and working sessions across business and technology stakeholder groups.
• Design future-state ITAM processes, governance, operating model, data requirements, and supporting technology architecture.
• Define requirements for ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, asset discovery and inventory, integrations, reporting, and data management.
• Translate business and technical requirements into a practical implementation roadmap and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Guide implementation, testing, deployment, and transition activities across cross-functional teams.
• Establish KPIs, governance controls, operational procedures, and continuous-improvement practices.
• Transition into long-term ownership and management of the IT asset management function.

Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ServiceNow, Asset Management, Requirements Management, Data Quality, Asset Management Software, Technical Support, Data Modeling, Data Management, Cross-Functional, We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program Lead to assess, redesign, implement, and ultimately manage an enterprise asset management program. This role will lead current-state assessments, stakeholder requirements gathering, future-state process design, and implementation efforts, with a strong focus on ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB capabilities., * 7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, CMDB, Configuration Management, IT Service Management, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience designing, implementing, or transforming enterprise ITAM programs and processes.
• Strong ServiceNow ITAM and/or CMDB experience.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, process design, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Working knowledge of asset lifecycle management, discovery and inventory tools, integrations, data quality, governance, and reporting.
• Strong communication, facilitation, program leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal Candidate

A self-directed ITAM leader who can operate as a consultant, program manager, and long-term operational owner. The ideal candidate can independently lead discovery, design scalable solutions, guide implementation teams, and ultimately run the asset management program. This person should be equally comfortable engaging executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams while balancing strategic vision with practical execution.
