Testing Center Coordinator

SUNY Purchase is searching for a Testing Center Coordinator. The Testing Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Testing Center. The Coordinator works with students, faculty and staff to facilitate a distraction free atmosphere where students are comfortable and confident that their disability will not interfere with their chance for success with tests and quizzes. • Bachelor’s Degree
• 1- 2 years’ experience working in a higher education setting, experience with Learning or Testing Centers in Higher Ed preferred
• Experience using software platforms such as Symplicity Accommodate or similar
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work well with students, faculty, and staff in fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently
• Ability to enter, monitor and interpret student data accurately
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of the needs of students with disabilities and new students/families at the College
• Strong administrative and computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office; and aptitude to learn new systems as needed
