• Lead data science strategy, experimentation, model quality, and a high-performing team.
• Set the technical direction for data, machine learning, or applied artificial intelligence initiatives.

• Establish standards for data quality, evaluation, monitoring, privacy, and responsible model use.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, and business leaders on implementation and adoption.

• Develop team capability through hiring, mentoring, documentation, and repeatable operating practices., The anticipated base salary range across represented Director of Data Science searches in New York is $190,000 to $285,000 per year. Final compensation depends on the employer, scope, level, experience, and work arrangement and may include bonus, commission, or equity where applicable.
