Job description

• Facilitate project chartering, drive alignment and set expectations
• Define, baseline, maintain and communication schedules
• Create and manage cost budgets and estimates, and track and communicate actuals on a defined cadence
• Proactively drive identification and assessment of risks. Drive appropriate risk responses and ensure closure
• Support teams to resolve issues with urgency and quality
• Develop and execute an effective change control process
• Establish a project governance structure appropriate for project size
• Teach, advocate and coach others on the use and benefit of project management competencies and skillsets
• Optimize the framework and tools by providing continuous improvement
• Ensure readiness, sustainability and value realization metrics are in place
• Have a defined resource plan with clear roles and responsibilities
• Manage vendor and third-party partners
• Ensure project status updates are clear, concise, timely and accurate
• Facilitate and lead effective meetings. Create and deliver effective written and verbal communication
• Perform conflict resolution and negotiation in a professional manner

Requirements

• MUST HAVE: Very Strong experience in payroll processes through Workday
• MUST HAVE: Workday end-to-end implementation experience
• MUST HAVE: Workday integrations and HCM transformation projects
• Large-scale Project / Program Management leadership
• Executive stakeholder management and governance
• KPMG partnership experience preferred, * B.S. or equivalent degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related field
• 5-10 years in progressive project experience in large, more complex initiatives in large highly matrixed organizations or through management consulting practices
• Sound experience in delivery of initiatives leveraging multiple delivery practices & tools
• PMP and Agile certifications highly preferred
