Software Developer (AI & Web Applications)

About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a Software Developer to support and enhance internal business applications, databases, dashboards, and AI-powered tools. This individual will work directly with company leadership to maintain existing systems and develop new solutions that improve data accessibility, reporting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software development, web technologies, databases, and emerging AI tools. Information for this role was captured in AI Software Developer. Responsibilities * Support and enhance internal web-based business applications. * Maintain and improve SQL-based databases and data structures. * Assist with management and reporting solutions built in Tableau. * Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and databases. * Build and improve front-end user interfaces for internal software tools. * Support AI-powered business applications and automation initiatives. * Create and maintain documentation for systems, workflows, and development projects. * Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify and implement technical solutions. * Assist with cloud-based application deployment and maintenance within AWS environments. * Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and reporting issues.

Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * 2-5 years of software development experience. * Experience with web application development. * Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL. * Familiarity with AWS cloud services. * Experience working with APIs and modern software development practices. * Knowledge of AI tools, LLMs, or AI-assisted development. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Tableau dashboards and reporting. * Experience working with Viewpoint Vista or other ERP/database platforms. * Exposure to AI agents, workflow automation, or generative AI applications. * Experience supporting internal business tools or intranet applications. * Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, React, or similar technologies. $10-$15/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
