Systems Analyst

Analyze systems hardware.

Perform ongoing hardware and software installation, upgrades, support, and training.

Provide telephone, e-mail support, training, to both internal and external customers.

Maintain hardware and software inventory databases.

Maintain, create and manage Microsoft SCCM.

Maintain and monitor backup software.

Perform Active Directory tasks.

Assist in maintaining anti-virus and laptop backup software., * Help Desk Support: Manage and resolve daily help desk tickets using our SysAid system. Provide support to all 800-900 staff members across all offices, with a primary focus on the West Coast.

• User Interaction: Provide support through various channels including walk-ups, direct chats (Teams/Zoom), and email. Must be comfortable with in-person interactions and have strong interpersonal skills.

• Hardware Management: Handle hardware setups for new hires and perform hardware refreshes every four years. This includes installing and configuring the OS (Windows 11), installing applications, and transferring user data.

• Technical Support: Answer staff questions regarding software, hardware, computer, and internet-related issues. Support a Windows environment, including some iPads, Samsung, and iPhone devices.

• Project Involvement: Assist with ongoing projects, such as the Windows 11 rollout, which includes figuring out logistics for upgrading remote users.

• Travel: Travel is mandatory once a month or every other month to our Southern California offices and other sites as needed. The candidate must be comfortable traveling and working independently.

3 to 5 years, We are seeking to fill an entry-level Systems Analyst position to join our West Coast IT team. This role is a backfill for a departing team member and is crucial for maintaining our IT presence and providing support to our staff. The successful candidate will be a personable and technically skilled individual responsible for a wide range of IT support tasks, from daily help desk tickets to hardware refreshes. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and mandatory monthly or bi-monthly travel.

Candidates for a systems analyst I position must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as be an effective communicator. Must demonstrate experience with hardware and software systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and life cycle management.

Requirements:

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent College degree.

3-5 years experience.

Good knowledge of Windows desktop products.

Good knowledge of computer hardware.

Ability to work independently and in a small team.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Must be flexible with schedule and be able to work overtime as needed.

• Strong experience with Windows environments (Windows 10/11).

• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.

• A rudimentary understanding of networking (wired and wireless) to troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Familiarity with both Zoom and Microsoft Teams is helpful.

• Knowledge of Autodesk products (Revit, AutoCAD) for installation and simple troubleshooting is a plus.
