Help Desk Analyst

Insight Global is looking to add a Help Desk Technician to our client’s team in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual will support an office relocation project while continuing to provide day-to-day desktop support and help desk services. Prior to the move, they will assist with cleaning and organizing IT equipment, sorting assets for recycling, storage, or disposal, removing outdated peripherals, cleaning IT storage areas, labeling equipment, boxing assets, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

During the relocation, they will disconnect and transport workstation equipment, log and track assets throughout the move, maintain asset accountability, set up workstations in the new office, reconnect and test hardware, troubleshoot move-related issues, and provide post-move support to end users.

In addition to move-related activities, this person will continue supporting the Service Desk by handling 20-30 tickets per day, assisting employees with equipment setups, returns, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, updating and maintaining records in ServiceNow, supporting user accounts through Active Directory, generating reports in Excel, managing software licenses, shipping equipment, configuring laptops for new hires, and conducting Zoom sessions to help users set up equipment.

Bachelors Degree completed or in pursuit of Bachelors or equivalent experienc 1+ years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst MS Office Suite experience (ability to manipulate data within Excel) Experience supporting a ticketing system (ideally servicenow) Strong communication skills and ability and interest communicating with end users Active directory experience Desktop support experience Experience supporting Citrix environments
