Sr Snowflake Platform Engineer

As a Senior Snowflake Platform Engineer, you will design, secure, automate, operate, and optimize enterprise Snowflake environments across Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will collaborate with various teams to ensure a secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient Snowflake platform for enterprise analytics and data workloads., 1. Snowflake Platform Engineering: Design, configure, operate, and govern Snowflake environments across Google Cloud Platform and AWS.

1. Security & Compliance: Implement security measures such as RBAC, SSO, encryption, and audit controls.
2. Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD: Automate Snowflake provisioning using Terraform, Git, and CI/CD platforms.
3. Performance & FinOps: Monitor and optimize query performance, resource utilization, and costs.
4. Reliability & Operations: Implement monitoring, incident management, and backup/recovery practices.
5. Platform Standards & Enablement: Develop reusable Terraform modules, automation, and documentation.

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or software engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake administration, architecture, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS, including IAM and networking.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and Git-based deployment workflows.
• Strong SQL skills for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash.
• Experience supporting production platforms and operational automation., * Experience operating Snowflake environments across both Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
• Experience with enterprise security, governance, and compliance practices.
• Experience building reusable platform automation and self-service capabilities.
• Experience in a regulated enterprise environment such as healthcare or financial services.
