Data Scientist

Data Scientist will work with multi-disciplinary teams to explore problem statements, experiment with different approaches and develop industrialised applications. The responsibilities include leading the development of advanced Machine Learning models and AI applications., * Collect, process, and analyse large datasets from various sources.

• Develop experimental models and machine learning applications in Python.
• Perform complex statistical analysis and interpret results.
• Lead small teams in the development and maintenance of data science products.
• Collaborate with business partners to communicate key findings.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance.

• 6+ years relevant experience
• Experience with problem framing, AI/ML metrics,
• Evaluation and development of classical ML + LLM
• Prompt/RAG basics;
• Experiment design; model cards.

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Manchester office 2 days per week.

This is a 12 month temporary contract to start ASAP
