Develops test cases and scripts, performs manual and automated testing, validates enhancements and integrations, tracks defects, and retests fixes. Collaborates with stakeholders during Agile ceremonies, supports UAT coordination and release readiness, maintains testing documentation, and ensures results meet security, compliance, and project requirements., Nüvitek is seeking a ServiceNow QA Tester with at least 3 years of experience in software testing and Agile environments to test ServiceNow applications, validate workflows, develop test cases, and track defects. The ideal candidate has experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing, with familiarity with test automation tools. Candidates must have an active Secret security clearance and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. What you will do

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Develop, document, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and UAT scripts based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform manual testing of forms, reports, configurations, workflows, and role-based access controls.
• Execute and maintain automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or comparable test automation tools, as applicable.
• Validate application enhancements, defect fixes, integrations, data updates, and release changes across development and test environments.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, confirm expected outcomes, and resolve testing issues.
• Support UAT coordination, release readiness, production validation, and the collection of test evidence.
• Maintain accurate testing documentation and ensure results align with applicable security, compliance, and project requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, and release planning to support quality delivery., Analyze malware, binary files, customer detection tickets, and machine learning detections to improve detection efficacy and reduce false positives. Review product detections, assess binary legitimacy, address internal detection questions, and provide insights to data science teams. The role collaborates with technical account managers, incident response teams, data scientists, and malware researchers. Required capabilities include malware analysis, reverse engineering, Python scripting, binary fundamentals, threat assessment, research methods, operating systems, and AI-assisted workflow improvement.

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience testing ServiceNow applications or comparable enterprise workflow platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience working in Agile delivery environments, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint ceremonies.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test cases, documenting results, identifying defects, and validating fixes.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with workflow dependencies, system integrations, data validation, and role-based access controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to thorough test coverage, accurate documentation, and clear defect reporting.
• The ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, adapt to changing requirements, and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
• Sound judgment in resolving issues independently and escalating concerns when appropriate.

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or other test automation tools.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification.
• Experience supporting federal technology programs or working in environments with applicable security and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise application enhancements, software releases, and workflow changes.
