Cloud Architect

Our client is looking for a senior technologist to serve as the go-to authority for identity and cloud architecture across both its data center and cloud environments. You’ll shape how the company manages user access, hosts applications, and protects its systems, and you’ll set the technical direction for a modern, secure, and resilient Microsoft-centered infrastructure. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategy and leadership, and it works closely with infrastructure, security, application, and business partners., * Building and maintaining enterprise identity solutions that span on-premises directories and cloud identity services

• Managing identity synchronization, federation, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access
• Defining approaches for identity lifecycle, role-based access, and privileged access
• Leading identity modernization, directory consolidation, and migration projects
• Maintaining directory infrastructure, including domains, trusts, group policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services, with strong high-availability and recovery plans

Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture

• Designing secure, scalable, cost-conscious Azure solutions, and setting cloud adoption strategy, reference architectures, and roadmaps
• Supporting enterprise application hosting and cloud modernization
• Designing infrastructure across Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, storage, networking, and data center technologies, including backup and disaster recovery
• Integrating cloud and on-premises systems and setting standards for automation and infrastructure as code

Collaboration Platforms

• Architecting Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive, along with hybrid mail flow
• Making sure collaboration tools integrate cleanly with identity services

Security, Automation, and Leadership

• Applying Zero Trust principles and partnering with security teams on compliance, audits, and vulnerability remediation
• Building automation with PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Microsoft Graph, and improving monitoring and reporting
• Acting as technical lead, mentoring engineers and administrators, and advising on strategic initiatives, including acquisitions

Cloud Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Network Operations Center, Cloud Computing, Microsoft Infrastructure, Application Hosting, Identity Data Management, Authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Federation, * 4+ years of in-depth Azure infrastructure experience, including virtual machines, enterprise file and block storage, load balancing, and backup and recovery

• Strong networking knowledge: virtual networks, VPN and private connectivity, network security groups, application gateways, and DNS
• Infrastructure-as-code skills with tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep
• Understanding of cloud security practices, including Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and key management
• Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience with Azure monitoring and security tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Sentinel
• Experience with enterprise application workloads in Azure is a plus
• Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate, are highly desirable, You’ll hold a high-impact seat with real authority over how the organization’s technology is built and secured, and you’ll lead and grow others along the way.
