Eng Sr - Test

BAE Systems is searching for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in developing automated test software solutions. The ideal candidate would be a motivated self-starter, able to work individually or as part of a team, willing to take direction and be able to communicate effectively., Typically a Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience, * Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret level security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
• Background experience in NI TestStand sequence development
• Background experience in embedded and/or application software development in C/C#/C++
• Software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools

Preferred Skills and Education

• Experience using and developing drivers for RF Test Equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Sources, Power Meters etc)
• Experience in RF measurement techniques
• Agile development experience
• Real-time embedded programming
• Git, Jira, Confluence, Clearcase, Bit Bucket

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it can take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely when work requirements allow.
