Data Center Technician

Management Commissioning Asset Management Hard Disk Drives Change Management IT Infrastructure Business Valuation Root Cause Analysis Server Infrastructure Full Stack Development Data Center Operations Business Transformation Network Interface Controllers Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians with a strong experience in server deployment, hardware installation, troubleshooting, and break/fix operations within enterprise or hyperscale data center environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting large-scale server infrastructure, performing hardware diagnostics, deploying new equipment, and maintaining high

levels of operational uptime.

This role is critical to supporting data center operations through rack and stack activities, server commissioning, hardware repairs, asset management, and

infrastructure maintenance while adhering to established safety and operational procedures., Server Deployment & Installation

• Perform rack, stack, and cabling of servers, network devices, and storage equipment.
• Install and configure enterprise server hardware according to engineering specifications.
• Execute server deployment projects, including hardware validation and post-installation testing.
• Label, document, and track equipment in asset management systems.
• Support hardware refreshes, decommissions, and technology upgrades.

Break/Fix & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair server hardware issues, including:
• Motherboards
• CPUs
• Memory (RAM)
• Power Supplies (PSUs)
• Hard Drives and SSDs
• RAID Controllers
• Network Interface Cards (NICs)
• Respond to incident tickets and restore failed equipment within established SLA requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Replace failed components and conduct post-repair validation testing.
• Escalate complex hardware or infrastructure issues when necessary.

Data Center Operations

• Conduct routine health checks and hardware inspections.
• Support cable management initiatives following industry best practices.
• Execute equipment moves, adds, and changes (MACs).
• Monitor environmental conditions and report abnormalities.
• Maintain detailed work logs and update ticketing systems.
• Follow change management procedures and operational standards.

• 2+ years of experience in a data center, IT infrastructure, or hardware support environment.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting enterprise server hardware.
• Strong understanding of server architecture and components.
