Web Developer 2

Markon is looking for a Sr. Web Developer, to work on a program with up to 16 hours a week of telework available, depending on each week’s tasking. This work will support a program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area., * Maintain a functioning user-accessible website

• Codes less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
• Support website planning and deployment
• Write documentation regarding the websites technical requirements
• Maintain website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
• Apply concepts, develops, tests maintain and support high-performance, innovative web-based applications,
• Responsible for troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologies
• Work with management and information technologies to determine specifications
• Use a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications, and object oriented languages (eg. Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML) to create webpage elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph is required
• 8 years of experience as a Web developer is required
• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is required. (OR) An additional 4 years of web development experience can be substituted for a degree.
• Demonstrated experience with JavaScript and Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience developing applications interfacing with REST-based APIs/Services in Apache Tomcat/Java or NodeJS.

USD $120,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
