Job description

This position is for a Web Developer 1 at our Annapolis Junction, MD location. The Web Developer 1 will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites. Key responsibilities include, * Develop and maintain web applications using modern technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.

Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to create user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces.
Implement responsive design to ensure websites are accessible across various devices and platforms.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance and user experience.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a web developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks.
Strong understanding of server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with back-end technologies and databases.
Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
Familiarity with agile development processes.
