Senior Network Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Architect, engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks (multi-vendor but Cisco-heavy, multi-site, dense with technology). This includes network security.
• Lead root cause analysis for outages and performance issues.
• Engaging teams with other expertise on relevant projects and systems.
• Communicate issues clearly to teammates and leadership and collaborate on resolution.
• Mentor less-senior engineers and technicians.

• Deep understanding of layer 4 and below
• Expertise and experience with an array of the hardware/software that are primarily associated with those layers: Route/switch, Firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and plenty more. Depth and breadth are both desired, but there is no expectation of ubiquity (or necessarily Ubiquiti)

Requirements * 8+ years network engineering experience in secure/cleared environments

• Active TS clearance; must be able to obtain TS/SCI
• Professional certification required (CCNP, JNCIP, etc.)
• Expert-level certification preferred (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.)
• Experience with progressive responsibilities that amount to “senior”
• DoD 8140 compliance required

• The likely salary range for this position is $190,000-$280,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, and contractual agreements and could fall outside of this range.
