Technical Lead - Adv Automation Testing

Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Playwright / Python / SQL) Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/Python) Build scalable automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing Perform ETL/data validation testing to ensure data accuracy across source and target systems. Write complex SQL queries for data verification and backend validation Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub/Jenkins) Drive test strategy, test planning, and defect management Ensure coverage for functional, regression, and performance scenarios Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices

Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc. Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable. Skills: - Mandatory skills Strong experience in Playwright automation (UI & API testing) Proficiency in Python scripting (preferred) or JavaScript/TypeScript Hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, aggregations, validation queries) Solid understanding of ETL processes and data testing methodologies Experience with API testing (REST, JSON, Postman/Playwright) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) Strong knowledge of test frameworks, design patterns, and QA best practices Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) Exposure to data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Synapse Knowledge of performance testing tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and stakeholder management Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment’ Skills QA Automation, Python, SQL, Playwright, Databricks (Good to have)
