Senior Quality Engineer (Automation)

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Core Java, Selenium, and industry-standard automation tools.
• Develop and execute automated API test suites using Rest Assured and validate RESTful microservices.
• Create and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation suites.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, identify defects, and drive resolution through closure.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
• Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, defect triage, and release readiness activities.
• Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java, Rest Assured, and Selenium to drive quality engineering and test automation initiatives across enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks
• Validating APIs and web applications
• Ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments
• Driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong programming experience in Core Java, including:

o OOP Concepts

o Collections

o Exception Handling

o Design Patterns

• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation testing.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or Azure/AWS platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
