Job description
- Administering and configuring enterprise cloud environments in Azure or AWS
- Handling level 2 and 3 support for cloud issues and fixing them quickly
- Provisioning VMs, storage and databases, on premises and in the cloud, with high availability
- Automating cloud deployments with Terraform or similar tools
- Writing Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts for backups, scaling and routine tasks
- Tuning and optimising cloud components
Requirements
- Solid experience with MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL, in the cloud and on premises
- Solid experience with AWS and Azure IaaS and PaaS services
- VMs, storage accounts, virtual networks and cloud monitoring
- DevOps practice, including CI/CD
- Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfortable working alone and in a team, with a real knack for problem-solving
