Job description
Kubernetes, cloud networking and automation, in a place where uptime matters.
A multinational defence organisation near Brussels needs a hands-on cloud engineer who can run container platforms and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
What you would be doing
- Administering and configuring enterprise cloud environments in AWS or Azure
- Handling level 2 and 3 cloud support and resolving operational problems quickly
- Provisioning VMs, storage and databases in the cloud with high availability
- Managing cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs and dedicated links
- Automating deployments with Terraform or similar, and scripting routine work in Python, Bash or PowerShell
Requirements
- Sound AWS experience: IAM, EC2, load balancers, CloudFront, CloudFormation, WAF, Cognito
- Experience running enterprise Azure environments, IaaS and PaaS
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker, in the cloud and on premises
- DevOps practice with CI/CD pipelines
- Securing cloud networks, firewalls and access control
- Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus
- Excellent spoken and written English and a real knack for problem-solving
