Database Technology Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Database Technology Manager to support and strengthen enterprise technology operations in Dover, Delaware. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a hands-on leader who can oversee database-related environments while guiding infrastructure support across desktop, remote access, and cloud-connected systems. The role requires a strong technical background, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain reliable performance across business-critical platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the administration and ongoing support of database technology environments to ensure stability, security, and consistent system availability.

• Manage user access, directory services, and authentication processes within Active Directory to support organizational security standards.

• Oversee Citrix-based platforms and remote desktop services, resolving access issues and improving end-user connectivity.

• Direct desktop administration activities, including workstation support, configuration management, and deployment of hardware and software updates.

• Coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance for computer hardware, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues across supported environments.

• Support cloud-integrated infrastructure and related services within AWS, helping maintain performance, access, and operational continuity.

• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions that reduce downtime and improve service reliability. Requirements * Proven experience managing database technology operations within a complex enterprise environment.

• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user management and access control.

• Experience supporting Citrix Technologies and Remote Desktop environments in a business setting.

• Hands-on background in desktop administration, endpoint support, and computer hardware troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its use in infrastructure or support operations.

• Ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders.
