Benefits & conditions

  • Analyze, document, and migrate existing SAS-based reporting packages, analytic processes, ETL, and automation processes into Python in an enterprise Anaconda environment. \n

  • Validate migrated outputs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and business acceptance. \n

  • Escalate unclear business logic or technical constraints to the appropriate internal process owner(s). \n

  • Support enterprise efforts to decommission SAS while minimizing operational disruption. \n

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline reporting processes during migration activities. \n

\n

Python Development and Conversion

\n \n

  • Design and develop Python-based replacements for existing SAS processes within the Anaconda environment. \n

  • Translate SAS data transformation, analytical, reporting, and automation logic into efficient and maintainable Python code. \n

  • Build modular, reusable, and well-documented Python components rather than line-by-line code translation. \n

  • Use appropriate Python libraries for data processing, analysis, file creation, database interaction, and workflow execution. \n

  • Develop solutions that can process large datasets reliably within the available enterprise environment. \n

  • Optimize Python code and SQL queries where needed to improve performance without changing approved business logic. \n
