Job description
Insight Global is looking for a Systems Engineer II to support complex DoD/USTRANSCOM systems and IT programs. This person will work with technical teams and users to understand requirements, review system designs, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s in engineering or computer science or equivalent
- IAWIP Certification: IAM I/IAT II
- 5+ years of relevant Systems Engineering/IT experience
- Experience working with complex IT systems and system architectures
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience supporting USTRANSCOM or other DoD programs
- Agile Certifications (Scaled, Scrum or Kanban) preferred but not required
- AWS Certifications (Certified Cloud Practitioner) preferred but not required
- Basic Splunk Query Experience preferred but not required
- Experience with technical and engineering reviews
- Experience reviewing technical/contractor deliverables
- Experience with DoDAF or similar government architecture frameworks
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technical risks
