Job description

Responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture for SMT related process, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams along with maintain and keep updated Bid data hardware and data structure in accordance with PAE_SMT projects scope.

Design and keep data standardization, Red Lake and Data Warehouse (JuP1 Central Data Base)

  • Create, integrate and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for SMT processes.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business and management requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, propose re-designing of data and infrastructure for greater scalability, etc in according with PAE-SMT scope.
  • Build, design and review the data structure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Azure Databricks ā€˜big data’ technology.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
  • Work with others stakeholders within AE wide including Management, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data requirements needs.
  • Keep our data separated, safe and secure for only the right personnel scope.
  • Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader
  • Design and keep Data Warehouse structure
  • Design and keep JuP1 Data Lake
  • Interact with Data Management structure to keep Data Governance.

Requirements

  • Proficient in communication and team collaboration
  • Self-directed with the ability to support multiple teams, systems, and products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Capable of making quick decisions in dynamic environments

Technical Knowledge - Operating Systems & Infrastructure:

  • High knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows Servers
  • Knowledge of server virtualization software
  • Knowledge of backup systems and software
  • High knowledge of servers clustering software and high availability technologies
  • Knowledge of data storage systems

Technical Knowledge - Database & Data Management:

  • High knowledge of database administration
  • High knowledge of SQL
  • High knowledge of data integration from multiple sources
  • Basic knowledge of BI technologies
  • Knowledge of Data Science, Big Data, and Machine Learning (preferred)

Programming & Development:

  • Knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (C++, Python, Java, or similar)
  • Experience customizing/modifying applications in high-level languages

Professional Requirements:

  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Time availability for emergency calls according to internal escalation procedures
  • Availability to travel with no legal restrictions to obtain Mexican Passport and Visa
  • Experience in automotive industry standards or electronic manufacturing industry (preferred)
