Job description
- Implement and maintain mission-critical network infrastructure utilizing Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Oversee comprehensive network security, maintain system integrity, and actively monitor network traffic and performance health.
- Support Linux server environments and streamline operational workflows using automation tools such as Ansible and Salt., * Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, modern network layouts, and system upgrades.
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated software.
- Implement and administer network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and data protection protocols.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues to ensure high availability.
- Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve operational visibility through metrics and alerting.
- Create and maintain thorough network documentation, standard operating procedures, and policies.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 12+ years
- Required Certifications: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III
- Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly
