Job description
- Provide comprehensive network management, engineering, and Zero Trust Architecture implementation.
- Configure, monitor, and model network infrastructure including Cisco and Juniper hardware alongside Linux environments.
- Utilize network modeling and mapping tools such as Forward Networks to capture network topology and assess vulnerabilities., * Provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
- Analyze network design, specifications, and related documentation to support distributed functionality.
- Analyze network characteristics including traffic, connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput.
- Troubleshoot complex network problems and recommend procurement or modifications to network components.
- Support Zero Trust Architecture capabilities to improve network security and posture.
- Implement Forward Networks tools to capture, organize, and maintain network inventory, network maps, and associated vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 12+ years
- Required Certifications: DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III
- Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly
