Build the backend of a fast-growing VC-backed SaaS platform. As a Python Backend Developer, you’ll design scalable APIs, integrate LLM workflows, and power real-time infrastructure - all in a lean, product-focused engineering team. The tech team is compact and works fully in-house, with full ownership over architecture and product direction. The engineering culture is fast, pragmatic and collaborative. Work setup is hybrid: typically 2 days per week in-office (Randstad region). 5+ years of backend experience, preferably 3+ in a SaaS or product environment - Proficient in Python and familiar with modern API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) - Hands-on experience with Redis, Docker, GitHub Actions or equivalent tools - Exposure to LLMs or AI integrations (or interest in working with them) - Broad technical knowledge across architecture, CI/CD, security and testing - Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus - Must be living in the Netherlands with valid EU work authorization Terms of Employment -
