Digital Insights Analyst

Our client, a leading retail organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, is seeking a Digital Insights Analyst for a short-term contract role. Fully remote, the position will support a website re-platforming programme by ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy and clear performance visibility across digital and eCommerce channels., * Deliver regular digital performance reporting and insights across multiple regions and business units

• Analyse online trading trends, customer behaviour, conversion performance and digital journeys
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
• Use Google Analytics 4 to assess website performance, customer activity and conversion trends
• Support technical and business teams throughout the website re-platforming programme
• Assist with the implementation, integration and optimisation of data solutions in Databricks
• Investigate data discrepancies, tracking issues and reporting anomalies, identifying root causes and suitable resolutions
• Validate data flows and platform integrations while translating complex datasets into actionable business recommendations

• Experience in digital insights, web analytics or a similar data analysis role
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Databricks and Power BI
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or website re-platforming projects
• Understanding of digital performance metrics, online trading and conversion optimisation
• Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills, with the ability to resolve data and reporting issues
• Familiarity with data engineering, ETL processes or cloud-based analytics platforms
• Experience with website migrations, tagging implementations or analytics platform integrations
