Founding Engineer

As a founding engineer, you will be at the core of building our product from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to shape both the front-end and back-end architecture, working closely with the founders and early customers to solve complex financial problems., * Lead full-stack development of key product features that directly solves a problem for our customers.

• Work directly with our customers, synthesize their feedback and help develop our roadmap.
• Build and maintain robust integrations with financial systems including ERPs, HRIS, Procurement software, and CRMs
• Design and implement core components of the backend platform, including the jobs framework, flexible data ingestion, and complex financial modeling
• Ensure best practices in software development, including code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD
• Collaborate with the founding team on product strategy, feature prioritization, and customer feedback loops
• Build and maintain planning and agentic workflows using the state of the art large language models
• Collaborate on technical decisions on scalability and security
• Help build the engineering team and culture

Finance, Startup, Accounting Close, Unicorn Library Management System, Accounting, Twitter, Slack, Financial Management, User Interface/Experience (UI/UX), Product Development, * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably with early-stage startups
• Strong experience building financial systems is preferred
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, NextJS
• Strong experience with relational databases and modeling
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP)
• Ability to understand basic machine learning concepts and quickly ramp up on
• Startup mentality with a passion for rapid prototyping, testing, and iterating on feedback
