Senior Software Engineer (React)

You will also help define and build internal tools to support different departments within the company., * Design, build, and test features for the front-end in addition to lambda functions

• Create reusable code abstractions
• Interface with various APIs
• Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in code review and QA
• Monitor and review events that impact site availability/performance and suggest and implement solutions
• Mentor other engineers and lead projects on your own or with colleagues

Software Engineering, Product Development, New Media, Value Engineering, Testing, User Interface/Experience (UI/UX), AWS Lambda, Application Programming Interface (API), Product Design, Code Reviews, * Proficient in both written and verbal use of the English language

• 5+ years experience building client-side applications
• Deep understanding of ReactJS
• Experience interfacing with microservices via GraphQL and REST APIs
• Knowledge working with AWS Lambda
• Expert-level knowledge of CSS
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jasmine, etc
• Ability to build responsive UIs from tiny screens to huge displays
• Awareness of cross-browser inconsistencies and client-side performance
• A passion for building good looking and performant UIs
• Working experience with git,, git-flow, and deployment strategies
• Strong communication skills and not afraid to ask questions
• Interacting with Global teams of both engineers and stakeholders

Nice to have qualifications

• Experience with React Hooks
• Familiarity with scrum or other agile development practices
• You’ve open sourced something that people are actively using
• Experience with pair programming
