Job description

This Senior AI Engineer position suits someone from either a high-growth startup or product-led technology company who enjoys building and shipping rather than researching models.

Requirements

4+ years in backend or full-stack engineering with hands-on LLM product development. \n
Experience shipping LLM-powered ranking, retrieval or recommendation systems into production. \n
A background building consumer-facing (B2C) products is essential - not just internal tools or enterprise applications. \n
Strong applied AI experience across prompting, embeddings, RAG, agent memory and personalisation. \n
Practical experience building evaluation frameworks and debugging ranking or retrieval failures in production. \n
Experience with TypeScript or Python and AI-assisted development workflows. \n
The ability to move quickly, make architectural decisions and take ownership without layers of management. \n
