Helpdesk Technician

Insight Global is seeking a contractor Help Desk Support Specialist (Level 2) to join a highly collaborative IT team supporting employees across the U.S. and internationally. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The environment is primarily MacOS and utilizes technologies including Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, and Confluence.

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support or Help Desk experience
• Strong experience supporting MacOS devices
• Experience with Jamf for device management, configuration, and auditing
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, access, and technical issues
• Experience managing and resolving tickets in a Help Desk environment
• Strong customer service and end-user support skills
• Experience supporting employee onboarding and offboarding
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets and technical requests
• Comfortable collaborating with IT team members across different time zones
• Ability to recognize when an issue needs to be escalated
