Experience Designer - onsite in Pittsburgh or Cleveland

Required Skills: 3+ years of experience with a strong background in design systems, including hands-on experience with Figma, wireframing, WCAG accessibility standards, Confluence, and Jira.

• We’re responsible for the customer facing and employee facing design systems. That’s the most widely used design system. We work on a set of design standards that drives efficiency with the internal development teams that are building. \n

• Initiatives/Projects: For 2026, the resource will be continuing to evolve the library for internal employee usage as a result of new demand / redesign work for employees \n

• Industry background: Design System experience/background huge plus \n

• Team Dynamic: A large team that’s working across the primary design systems 9 designers total, 3 designers on internal employee design system pod. \n

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create and update documentation and graphics for design docs \n

• Build, fix, and test Figma components \n

• Create dev specs \n

• Design and test Angular components \n

• Collaborate with content and ADA accessibility partners \n

• Stay up to date on competitive analysis of other design systems \n

• Answer help desk questions \n

• Attend or facilitate open office hours \n

• Attend or facilitate early Design Reviews with product designers \n

• Attend or facilitate design system Design Reviews \n

• Attend or facilitate design system governance meetings \n

• Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance meetings \n

• Attend or facilitate working sessions across product design teams to align \n

• Work on special projects as requested
