Endpoint Security Analyst - Vulnerability Remediation in Mundelein

Alderson Loop is seeking two Endpoint Security Analysts to help reduce an enterprise laptop vulnerability backlog. This hands-on role focuses on using CrowdStrike Falcon to identify affected devices, investigate missing or failed patches, and drive remediation through verified closure., n \n

• Review CrowdStrike dashboards and reports to identify and prioritize long-open vulnerabilities. \n

• Investigate why patches remain missing, including deployment failures, incomplete mitigation, or gaps in compensating controls. \n

• Deploy or coordinate operating system and application updates using enterprise endpoint management tools. \n

• Troubleshoot remediation failures, validate results, and track outstanding issues through resolution. \n

• Partner with endpoint and IT teams to resolve blockers and document root causes. \n

• Strong hands-on experience using CrowdStrike Falcon to support vulnerability analysis and patch remediation. \n

• Experience troubleshooting Windows endpoints and deploying operating system and third-party application patches. \n

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or comparable endpoint management tools. \n

• Strong investigative skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize quickly, and deliver with minimal ramp-up. \n

• PowerShell scripting and remediation automation experience . \n
