What you will be doing day to day:

• Creating reusable AI patterns and capabilities.
• Developing and supporting MCP servers.
• Helping product teams adopt AI within their development lifecycle.
• Supporting/administering enterprise AI platforms and tools.
• Establishing governance and rigor around AI usage and prompting.

Ideally looking for experience with Github Copilot, About the role: As an AI PDLC Engineer, you will help shape how software engineers across the enterprise build with AI. You’ll design, build, and roll out standardized AI agents, guardrails, and engineering practices that make AI-assisted development faster, safer, and more consistent. Your work will reach development teams company-wide. Our goal is for AI to improve both delivery speed and quality, not one at the expense of the other.

This role sits where platform engineering meets AI enablement. You will turn emerging AI capabilities into trusted, reusable, enterprise-grade solutions that developers can adopt with confidence., * Build, test, and maintain standardized AI agents, skills, and reusable workflows for software developers across the enterprise.

• Design and implement AI guardrails that are enforced in code and pipelines, not just documented, including automated quality, security, and policy checks for AI-assisted development.
• Bring rigor to AI-assisted delivery by defining and automating verification standards, such as code review checks, test quality, and evaluation of agent output.
• Version-control agents, prompts, and skills like any other code, and keep them aligned with enterprise engineering standards.
• Partner with security, architecture, and risk stakeholders so AI solutions meet governance expectations before enterprise rollout.
• Support adoption by writing clear documentation, enabling developer teams, and collecting feedback to improve usability and outcomes.
• Collaborate within a hybrid team by taking part in scrum ceremonies and giving constructive feedback in code merge reviews.
• Take ownership of backlog items and contribute to git repositories to move initiatives forward and deliver high-quality features.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing in one or more of the following programming languages:
• Python
• Java
• JavaScript / Node
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, LLM-based agents, or agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with AI guardrail and evaluation concepts, such as input/output validation, policy enforcement, and measuring the quality of agent output.
• Experience with major testing frameworks and writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Experience building software and deploying it through CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working within a scrum team.
• Ability to communicate proactively and manage expectations with stakeholders such as digital product, software architecture, security, and others.
