Job description

One of our largest national retail clients is seeking a Web Platform Engineer to join their growing team. This person will work on a critical platform team responsible for supporting the stability and performance of the web application. Daily responsibilities include identifying, troubleshooting, and mitigating platform-level issues and responding to escalations when they occur. Approximately 70% of the role will focus on platform stability and troubleshooting, while the remaining 30% will involve UI/front-end development work.

Requirements

7+ years of experience with front-end/web technologies, including JavaScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, Tachyons, Git, pnpm, HTML, and CSS -Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, web performance, and web architecture -In-depth understanding of networking, HTTP, and CDNs -Experience with GraphQL and orchestration layers
