Sr. SQL Developer

We are looking for a Sr. SQL Developer. This is a hybrid, full-time permanent hire position in Raleigh, North Carolina with our client. In this role as a Sr. SQL Developer, you will be responsible for complex data workflows, optimization, and data modeling. As a Sr. SQL Developer, you will be improving the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), building out new data marts for business, refining ETL/ELT processes, and working more closely with data governance, performance tuning, and automation. • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or database administration \n

• Insurance industry experience preferred \n

• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases \n

• Solid understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and data modeling concepts \n

• Experience optimizing SQL queries and database performance \n

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills \n

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams \n

• BA/BS degree (Data, Computer Science or other related field of study preferred) \n
