Data Analyst

Description We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a FinTech organization on a long-term contract assignment. This role focuses on transforming commercial and sales data into meaningful analysis that supports pricing decisions, revenue planning, and opportunity evaluation. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop clear reporting, validate critical business data, and deliver insights that strengthen decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Create analytical models and decision-support templates to assess new business and converted opportunities.

• Evaluate deal economics by examining margins, pricing structures, and overall commercial viability.

• Develop effective presentation materials that summarize commercial proposals and support stakeholder discussions.

• Prepare internal review decks that clearly communicate deal performance, assumptions, and recommendation points.

• Audit and maintain Salesforce data to improve accuracy, consistency, and reporting reliability.

• Keep weekly tracking reports current by monitoring key metrics, updating performance data, and highlighting notable changes.

• Analyze sales and pricing information to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support more competitive market decisions. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, sales operations, commercial finance, or a similar analytical role.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build clear analyses and executive-ready materials.

• Experience working with analytical or statistical tools such as R and other data analysis platforms.

• Ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into practical business recommendations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to cross-functional stakeholders.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy when working with calculations, reporting, and data validation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across sales, finance, and other business functions.
