Senior PHP/Laravel Developer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP / Laravel Developer to join a dynamic team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of mission-critical web applications. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in PHP development, Laravel frameworks, software architecture, and modern development practices, with the ability to drive technical excellence and mentor junior team members., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP/Laravel applications.

• Develop and integrate APIs and backend services.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
• Review code and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Collaborate closely with product, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Support deployment, testing, and release activities.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge across the team.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements Mandatory

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in PHP and the Laravel Framework.
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and relational database design.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience optimizing application performance, scalability, and security.
• Knowledge of software architecture patterns and best development practices.
• Fluent English (C1 level).

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with automated testing and quality assurance practices.
• Previous experience mentoring developers and participating in technical leadership activities.

Nice to Have

• French language skills.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of Redis, Elasticsearch, or message queue technologies.
• Experience working in international environments.
