Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer

IntelStack is hiring an Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer for a global technology and consulting client running cloud migration and platform programmes for Dutch financial-services and public-sector organisations. You will build the secure, automated Azure platforms that application teams build on. You will build the secure, automated Azure platforms that application teams build on. What you will do

• Design and build Azure landing zones, networking and identity (Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy).
• Write infrastructure as code in Terraform or Bicep, with automated pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Run container platforms on AKS (Kubernetes, Helm).
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana).
• Embed security and compliance controls for NIS2 and DORA, working with security teams.

• 5+ years in cloud or DevOps engineering, including 3+ years on Azure.
• Terraform or Bicep in production.
• Kubernetes (AKS) and container workloads.
• CI/CD pipeline design in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Azure networking and identity fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400).
• OpenShift or sovereign cloud experience.
• Experience in regulated environments (banking, insurance, government).
• Dutch language.

Engagement details

• Working language English; Dutch is a plus.
• You must already have the right to work in the Netherlands (EU citizen or valid Dutch permit); no visa sponsorship.
• Freelance through your own company or employed through our payroll partner.
