Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Network and On-prem Engineer. The position will be part of the Enterprise Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team (NTT), which is responsible for triaging and troubleshooting high-severity issues impacting internal systems and external customers.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fundamental networking technologies, network security, software-defined networking (SDN), infrastructure as code (IaC), and extensive experience with at least one cloud service provider (CSP)., * 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and architecture
- Infrastructure software development and automation skills using Python
- Proven experience with virtual networking and security constructs in AWS and/or Azure
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCSE certifications preferred
- Network security experience and certifications are a plus
- Expertise in cloud networking and security constructs (DMZ)
- In-depth knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud technologies
- Strong knowledge of IP routing, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and DNS
- Experience with cloud PaaS service integration
- Experience with ITSM practices (Change, Incident, Problem Management)
- Strong advocate and practitioner of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with Python, Ansible, and SDN programming
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
