Sr. Data Engineer

• Lead migration of legacy Oracle databases and warehouse workloads to the Snowflake cloud platform.
• Build and optimize dbt models, transformations, and data pipelines for scalable cloud analytics.
• Design, schedule, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes and source-to-target data mappings.
• Manage database performance, security, backup, recovery, and infrastructure reliability across environments.
• Coach engineering team members on cloud data architecture standards and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate UAT activities and drive migration deliverables through validation, approval, and completion.

Data Warehousing, Oracle, Snowflake Schema, Cloud Computing, Data Modeling, Performance Tuning/Optimization, Cloud Architecture, Data Recovery, Database Backup, Communication Skills, * 7 years or more of experience with data engineering, Oracle development, and enterprise data warehouse environments.

• Proficiency in dbt and Snowflake for cloud data transformation, modeling, and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with migrating legacy Oracle databases and data platforms to Snowflake using dbt.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development, data mappings, transformations, job scheduling, and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Experience in database infrastructure, backup and recovery, security, performance tuning, and cloud architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
