SAP S/4HANA Finance / RTR (Record-to-Report) Lead

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Finance / RTR (Record-to-Report) Lead on behalf of our client in Seattle, WA or Boston, MA., Lead and support end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR/R2R) processes within SAP S/4HANA Finance. Provide functional leadership across Financial Accounting processes, including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) Taxation Intercompany Accounting Financial Close Activities Drive month-end and year-end closing processes, account reconciliations, financial postings, and reporting activities. Facilitate finance process workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design discussions. Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. Provide expertise in Management Accounting and Controlling functions, including cost centers, profit centers, and internal orders. Ensure seamless integration between Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes. Evaluate current-state finance operations, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements aligned with SAP best practices. Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, technology, and business teams to resolve functional issues and dependencies. Lead stakeholder discussions, communicate solution recommendations, and provide consultative guidance to senior leadership. Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex finance and SAP functional issues. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and optimize financial processes. Manage functional deliverables, risks, dependencies, and project priorities to support successful outcomes.

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance professional with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. The ideal candidate will lead finance transformation initiatives, provide functional leadership across accounting and controlling processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with senior business stakeholders to deliver scalable, business-focused SAP solutions. This role requires strong consulting skills, functional expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment., Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Extensive experience working with SAP Finance solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Finance. Strong expertise in Record-to-Report (RTR/R2R) business processes. Hands-on experience with Financial Accounting (FI) and Management Accounting/Controlling (CO) modules. Deep understanding of: Universal Journal New Asset Accounting SAP Fiori Applications Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) Financial Closing Cockpit Advanced Financial Closing (AFC) Proven experience leading finance process design and business transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance requirements. Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with business and technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation programs. Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple integrated business processes. SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus. Consulting background with experience advising senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Experience driving finance process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
