UI Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established global software company as they seek to appoint a Senior UI Engineer to join their Belfast-based engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly formed team working on a greenfield product within the cybersecurity space. With the product still in its early stages, you’ll have a genuine opportunity to influence technical decisions, architecture and the overall direction of development. You’ll be joining a collaborative engineering environment that encourages new ideas, technical ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to make a real impact on a business-critical product., As a Senior UI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in taking a new product from proof of concept through to a fully developed, production-ready solution. Working closely with backend engineers, designers and product stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for building intuitive, responsive and high-performing user interfaces.

You’ll have the freedom to contribute to technology choices, shape frontend architecture and establish best practices, while working within a relaxed and supportive engineering culture. Key Requirements: 5+ years’ experience with JavaScript / TypeScript 3+ years’ commercial experience with React Experience with modern component libraries such as React Aria, Radix UI or similar Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design and accessibility This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Frontend Engineer who enjoys taking ownership, contributing ideas and having a real say in how products are built.
