Software Engineers

• Craigavon-based. On site five days a week for the first six months, then hybrid (five office days a fortnight)
• Java and Spring Boot first, with Angular or AWS a bonus
• Work on a major new cloud platform and the products that keep the business moving
• Must have UK right to work, * Design, build and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to production
• Work with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL for some roles
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and improve code quality and testing
• Collaborate with product, business and engineering colleagues
• Explain technical decisions clearly, and share knowledge with the team
• Pick up cloud-native and AWS work as the platform grows

• Strong experience developing applications in Java with Spring or Spring Boot
• Experience with SQL, and Oracle technologies in particular
• Good grasp of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and full SDLC delivery
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Desirable

• Angular or AWS experience
• Oracle PL/SQL or Forms (for the database-focused roles)
• Experience in a regulated environment
