Cloud Engineer

In this role, you’ll join our team, providing high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions to our clients. As a Cloud Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for distributed and managed services automating the installation, configuration and maintenance of platform services.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Migrate existing CloudFormation code to Terraform
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructure
• Work with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to implement CI/CD and deployment strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps
• Strong proficiency with Terraform (writing modules, managing state, workspaces, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud provider
• Experience with DevOps tools and utilities to include Github, Ansible & CDK
• Ability to work effectively in a Linux-based development environment
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (eg, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in the cloud
• Proficient in at least one Scripting language

Nice to haves:

• Terraform SME
• Hands-on experience with multiple cloud providers such as [AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP]
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Hands on experience with python
• Knowledge of containerization
