Senior Software Engineer

• Promote teamwork and effective communication across all departments.
• Develop modern database, service layer, and client application solutions using a range of .NET technologies.
• Conduct code reviews and coach members of the software team.
• Prioritise requirements in collaboration with the Head of Software Engineering.
• Ensure project delivery stays on schedule and report any challenges or potential delays.
• Mentor and contribute to the development of engineers within the Software Group.
• Integrate with third-party vendors as required.
• Propose and maintain an evolving software architecture for long-term progress.
• Ensure code clarity and simplicity to support robustness and maintainability.
• Collaborate with IT to improve version control, continuous integration, and testing processes.
• Improve the DevOps environment to increase the delivery rate of high-quality products.
• Keep up to date with new techniques, languages, and tools as required.
• Respond promptly to user support requests according to priority.
• Provide race support on a rotational basis.
• Adhere to all engineering and business processes, as well as safety regulations.
