IT Service Desk Engineer

• Answer calls and triage all types of tickets at first-line level
• Provide second-line support for Windows 11, Office, Microsoft Teams, the Mimecast Email Archiving System, Entra ID/Active Directory, and Microsoft InTune
• Coordinate hardware maintenance through a third party under warranty
• Manage desktop environment change control
• Manage and resolve calls using the customers service management package
• Deploy software via SCCM and provide remote support using RDP, SCCM Remote Control, Teams, and Dameware
• Provide VOIP support
• Deploy desktops and laptops to new and existing users
• Perform network patching and provide first-line network support

• 2 years of IT support experience preferred
• UK work authorisation required
• Bristol BS35 4GG preferred
• Must be free from a criminal record and willing to undergo security clearance to UK BPSS level

We are BTL IT Solutions, and this full-time role supports our Bluechip FTSE 100 aerospace customer in a high-tech manufacturing environment. We value the quality and delivery of our services, and customer focus is central to our success. The role is based at the customers site at Western Approach, Severn Beach, Bristol, as part of a UK-wide virtual team, and is in person. Pay is £26,000-£29,000 per year, with on-site parking. We conduct initial interviews by video conference, followed by a face-to-face interview. The successful candidate will have an initial three-month probation period.
