Chief Technology Officer

• Own the technical roadmap and translate business priorities into clear development milestones.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of a secure, scalable software platform.
• Stay involved in coding, architecture, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Develop practical AI capabilities and reliable integrations with third-party systems.
• Establish strong standards for security, data privacy, testing, and system reliability.
• Recruit and mentor engineers, manage technical partners, and build an accountable engineering team.
• Work closely with the founders to balance product quality, development speed, and cost.

• A strong track record of building and shipping production software, ideally within a startup or growing SaaS company.
• Deep experience in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs, and software architecture.
• Practical experience integrating AI into real products, with attention to accuracy, privacy, and performance.
• The ability to make sound technical decisions with limited resources and evolving requirements.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ownership, good judgment, and a willingness to stay close to the work.

Experience in healthcare technology, regulated environments, or HIPAA-related security practices is a plus. Previous CTO experience is welcome, but we’re also open to an exceptional engineering leader ready to step into the role.

NHAI is an early-stage healthcare technology company developing AI-powered software to help organizations operate more efficiently. We’re looking for a hands-on CTO to lead technology strategy, own product engineering, and help build the company alongside its founders.

This role is for someone who can think strategically and execute directly-from making architecture decisions to writing production code. You’ll have meaningful influence over the product, technical direction, and engineering culture as the company grows.

In this role, you will
