Technical Support Engineer

Maintaining the office network (Microsoft Domain, VMware virtualization, Veeam Backup, Eset Antivirus and other applications);

• providing SCP platform installations and providing concept and product training to customers and partners, in and outside the Netherlands (possibly also outside Europe);

• providing technical documentation, reports and user manuals for the total product portfolio;

• drawing up procedures and following them in consultation with management (including ISO 27001 and 27701, CE marking);

• managing relationships and technical support (pre- and after-sales) of suppliers, customers, partners and colleagues in the regional branches;

• keeping up with the latest technical developments and relevant concepts in the IT, Security and Healthcare market (in particular eHealth & Telecare); - collaborating with and supporting our R&D department:

As technical support engineer:

You are part of a worldwide organisation;

you have the ability to diagnose and fix network issues and VPN’s and setup and troubleshoot a broad spectrum of hardware issues (servers, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, biosensors etc.)

you work with colleagues, customers and partners all over the world.

You have:

• HBO work/thinking level or a completed technical HBO education or MBO education with experience (HBO Electrical Engineering is an advantage);

• excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office:

o Windows Server 2012/2016/2019;

o Windows 10 Workstation;

o Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio & Sharepoint);

• a lot of experience with IT:

o Windows Server and Operating Systems; SAP Crystal Reports and (SQL) databases, also with regard to backup & redundancy;

o IP networks, routings, port forwardings, VPN and firewalls;

• knowledge of and/or experience with security systems, such as alarm systems, (IP) CCTV systems (including DVRs, NVRs, cameras), IVA/VCA, alarm systems and sensors from healthcare (e.g. PAS) and VOIP solutions and knowledge of Hypervisors;

• experience with market research and product evaluation and comparison of Security and Healthcare related hardware, mobile applications and APIs/SDKs;

• analytical insight in combination with a ‘hands-on’ mentality;

• customer and result-oriented attitude;

• no 9 to 5 setting, we work with regional offices (colleagues) in 4 different time zones (customers in multiple time zones) and other weekly schedules (e.g. in the Middle East). That requires flexibility;

• good command, both orally and in writing, of at least the Dutch and English language. Knowledge of German and possibly other languages is an advantage;

• excellent representative and communicative qualities; - the skills of a team player, but you can also travel individually.
